FINALLY! Got the date

I get "Realized," on April 6, 2009! YIPPEEEEE!!! 
I initially thought it might be mid-March after finding a new mystery appointment with Dr. Williams on my MyHealth at Vandy page. Turns out that's the preop consult. I did have a message from the scheduler on my machine this morning when I got home from the vet's office and called her back.
April 6 at 1:30 pm. Awwww, man! I'll have to go most of the day without drinking. I'm getting parched just thinking about it. But that'll be a small sacrifice, don'tcha think? Plus I get to sleep in! There's always a silver lining if you look for it.
Now that I have a date, I feel like I have my head back in the game. I've been in limbo since early February not knowing. Now I can my ducks in a row and make some plans. YAY!
Speaking of which, maybe I should start today's IDGOMB thread!

Whaaaat? Who is letting you have a horrible day, Sooner? Let me at 'em!!! Yarrrrr!
I am excited, finally! It's great to leave limbo-land behind and have something inked into the old calendar.
I do have to do 8 days of liquid diet pre-op. Unfortunately for my TN OH friends that will be working the Walk from Obesity booth at the Southern Women's Show, I will be about 5 days into that liquid diet. I'm sure I'll be a JOY to be around, ha ha! I might want to download some soothing, meditative new age music onto my iPod to keep me from killing folks.
I have to get to work, but I'll try and PM you soon. The dogs got into a bit of a fight and Jack nipped Millie on the ankle. Always eager to find a way out of having to work (ha ha), I ran to the vet's office instead. But I have to earn my keep sooner or later. I'll sneak in some writing time while the boss is in a meeting, heh heh.
Now, no more horrible for you. Don't make me fly out there. I'll do, so help me!

Just a "heads up" .. my surgery was at 12:30, and I didn't even think about not getting anything all day, I was so excited to just get it done! That plus my Mom and my brother were both there, and they kept me going, even when I sent them away so they could go find food for their lunch, I was fine. Excitement takes over BIG TIME on that day!
It will be here before you know it!!!

Yippee-ky-OOOOOO Denise!! You are on your way.......stay up in those clouds......this is sooooo cool! April 6th is right around the corner......and, the first day of spring break so I expect you to wear a bikini to your surgery........see you on the LOOOOSERS bench.....xo, Micheala.

Yeah, sure! Like I'm gonna wear a bikini to surgery! Spring, Micheala, not SUMMER! Maybe, as a compromise, I can wear one of those giant t-shirts with a skinny bikini body printed on it!
I'm just glad that I have a date so now I can plaaaaan. I'll wait until after payday to have fun on the bariatric advantage website
but I'll be there soon enough! Mmmmm, protein shakes. NOT!
